Kuma’s Corner is better known for their craft burgers than their craft beer. They still represent the craft beer scene very well with a rotating craft beer selection. With plenty of bottled beers behind the bar, their draft lines impress just as well. Current beers include Metropolitan’s Dynamo Copper Lager, Allagash White, and Three Floyds Gumballhead.

“What’s that bar across the street from Kuma’s?” If I had a nickel every time I heard that one… that bar is Square Bar. And they have an excellent craft beer selection, probably my favorite craft beer bar in Avondale. Always representing Midwest craft beer, with hints of east and west coast flavors, Square Bar is as impressive as it gets around here. Current draft lines include Three Floyds Zombie Dust, Victory Golden Monkey, and Oskar Blues Mama’s Little Yella Pils.

The Orbit Room is definitely a craft beer bar you will want to visit while in Avondale. Known for their tiki lounge atmoisphere, Orbit has an impressive craft beer selection. Make sure you say hello to Chicago’s best bartender via The Red Eye!

The Hungry Brain is a dive bar that carries excellent craft beer and conversation. Christmas lights, retro light fixtures, candles… sounds a lot like a college dorm room. Not quite. Half Acre, Revolution, and Three Floyds drafts are constantly on rotation in this hidden gem.
